Sonia Fuller – Director, Finance & Operations

Sonia Fuller started her career in Marketing and Customer Service (for firms such as Siemens and Toyota) and then progressed into Sales, initially in the Media industry. She then used this combination of skills to start her career in recruitment and joined Hudson London in 2004, initially as a Researcher and quickly progressing to Senior Consultant in the Banking team and becoming the top performer quarter on quarter throughout 2005 and 2006.

Seeing the vast opportunities in Singapore, she relocated in 2007 and worked for Morgan McKinley, specialising again in Banking but covering Operations as well as Finance/Middle Office. Key clients in both countries included UBS, Goldman Sachs, Citigroup, Credit Suisse, Deutsche Bank and DBS to name a few. She also built several key relationships with a number of Hedge Funds.

Whilst working in Singapore, Sonia noticed that there was a significant lack of customer service to both candidates and clients and was keen to start a firm which was not only excellent in matching candidates to roles/clients, but which also offered exceptional service that exceeded expectations throughout the recruitment process.

Kyle Blockley, Director, Technology

For the past 12 years Kyle’s background has been purely focused on the Financial Services market.

He spent nearly 2 years on and off with HSBC until he decided to move into recruitment and specialise in placing Banking professionals.

Over the course of the next few years Kyle’s focus was the recruitment of middle office and back office professionals. He enjoyed a stint at Gillow Purdie which focused on London and European placements before moving to Hudson Global Resources in 2003.

At Hudson he managed the Financial Services Procurement and Supply Chain Team, placing procurement professionals into clients such as Deutsche Bank, Citigroup, RBS, Barclays, AXA and many more, he was also the account manager for Barclays from 2005-2007.

Kyle relocated to Singapore in January 2007 with Hudson and managed the Banking Technology team and having spent a year with them, realised that there was a definite lack of service within the recruitment market and branched out with his business partner, Sonia Fuller, to establish KS Consulting as a Boutique Financial Services specialised firm. In 2010 Kyle spent most of the year working for Goldman Sachs as their Head of Federation recruitment before returning to KS to grow the technology business.
